|perpetual consideration|

As sat in the mist for the second day in a row for Jake's soccer camp, huddled under an umbrella (to protect my camera) & my hoodie (to protect my hair. Laugh, but mist floats around & my hair & wetness do not mix well), I realized that Hawaii can not come soon enough. Warmth, the sun, powerdy sandy beaches with sun kissed bodies laying on them, our sun kissed bodies. I just cant wait. Normally I don't care for heat, but some warmth would be lovingly accepted.

No hotter than 80°, no cooler than 70° and I am in bliss.

Its 65°, but there's a chill to the air. I have the fireplace going, but I still cant get warm. I have on yoga pants, a sweatshirt & socks, but my toes & fingertips are still frozen to the touch, just ask Jake. And this is summer on the central coast. The Sunny....Sunny?.....The sort of Sunny Central Coast of California.

But no matter. The cold is an excuse to slow down, to curl up with loved ones, tangled up in bed, giggling, laughing & being thankful we have each other. Its a break from the hustle & bustle of cramming events in before summer is over, making sure to take advantage of what the dog days have to offer.
