Day 93

The dishes are done from dinner, the kitchen has been wiped down and the lights have been turned off saying the kitchen is closed for the evening, all in time for the sun to just set with enough light to see the tree line and the fog. Its a brisk 55° out, the fireplace is roaring away, while Jake stands in his underwear and warms his "work keys" that his Auntie Kali got him. I'm sipping on some freshly steeped Earl Grey tea leaves and Austin is settled on the couch with Kaleb nestled on his chest.

We are all tucked away in our home.

Its nights like these that I look around our home, at what we've created, from our children down to the silverware in the drawer and wonder how I got so lucky to be where I am today, to be where we are today. I look around me and cant believe how blessed we've been. Even in the difficult times, its the blessings I notice. At the end of everyday day, we have us and that's all I need.
